Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Lyme Disease

Kelly Clady will be discussing how acupuncture and Chinese medicine can be used in the treatment of Lyme disease. She has worked in the Berkshires for the past decade. Kelly completed her 5 yr. Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco and graduated in 2004. She then moved immediately with her husband to Suzhou and Shanghai, China where she resided and worked at several hospitals as well as in private practice for nearly 3 yrs. Though she enjoys treating a little of everything, Kelly's specialties include Internal Medicine, fertility & gynecology, dermatology, neurological disorders, autoimmune diseases, weight loss, Chinese herbal medicine, and Therapeutic Qigong. She currently maintains two practices, one at Boundless in West Stockbridge and the other in Manhattan.

Dr. Arthur Gertler will discuss Lyme disease treatment options. Dr. Gertler is a board certified gastroenterologist and internist who utilizes natural, holistic methods of treating illness, including Lyme disease. This presentation will discuss a variety of safe and gentle protocols to treat Lyme, as well as the full spectrum of chronic diseases and pain.

Dr. Gertler has practiced holistic medicine at the D’Arcy Wellness Clinic in Natick, MA for many years after a 30 year career in traditional gastroenterology and internal medicine.
