We are proud to announce our Lyme Alliance of the Berkshires 2017 Speaker Series. Our first speaker will be on Tuesday April 11th, 2017 starting at 6:00 PM at the Berkshire Athenauem at 1 Wendell Avenue in Pittsfield, MA.

The subject of the evening “Lyme Disease and Food as Medicine”, a workshop focused on education and healing with special guest speaker Bettina Zumdick.

Discover how whole foods and whole food preparations can be vital to help you improve your health and move beyond Lyme disease and its co-infections. Bettina has an extensive background in Holistic Health, Culinary Medicine, Macrobiotics and Yoga/Qi Gong Teacher and Author with 30 years of experience, with a background in food science, nutrition and dietetics.

She has integrated the Western and Eastern health and healing techniques and is a teacher of holistic health and other body-mind spirit related subjects, such as meditation, yoga, chanting, visualization within Europe and the United States.
